L’excellente revue Katalog (bilingue danois-anglais) a publié dans son dernier numéro (n°29.2) un long essai de moi sur ma recherche, titré « Playing against the Camera – Experimental Photography » ou bien « At Spille imod Kameraet – Eksperimentel Fotografi » (pages 2 à 53), qui reprend des éléments de mon livre.
The excellent Danish magazine Katalog (bilingual Danish-English) published in its last issue (29.2) a long essay by myself about my research, under the title « Playing against the Camera – Experimental Photography » or, if you prefer, « At Spille imod Kameraet – Eksperimentel Fotografi » (pages 2 to 53), reformulating some elements from my book.
Mais ce qui est tout à fait remarquable est que son rédacteur en chef, Jens Friis, a inclus dans mon article de nombreuses reproductions d’oeuvres de photographes expérimentaux (avec ou sans appareil) que, à l’exception de Pierre Cordier, je ne connaissais pas. Une belle découverte ! Je ne saurais trop vous inciter à acheter cette revue (ou, mieux, à vous y abonner).
What is truly remarkable is that Katalog’s editor-in-chief, Jens Friis, has included in my article many reproductions of works by experimental photographers (with or without a camera), and I must say that I didn’t know any of them, except Pierre Cordier. A great discovery! I strongly advise you to buy this magazine (or better to subscribe to it).
